Colloid Milling Systems


Application: The Perfect Engineers Milling System is designed for milling and dispersing of semi-solid materials, viscous slurries, and liquid emulsions. In short, any material that can be pumped is capable of being milled to a very fine consistency in short intervals. These mills can be installed on line or can be used as a separate independent unit. Examples of materials that can be De aerated: Greases, Emulsions, Inks and paints, Pharmaceutical formulations, Peanut butter, Sauces, Construction Chemicals, Paper and Textile Chemicals, Asphalt and Bitumen Emulsions, Dyestuff and Pigment Emulsions, and many more materials of similar consistency. Working Principle: The colloid-milling machine works on the rotor and stator principal. Both the rotor and stator are of special steel to withstand high wear and tear. The material is forced through the gap between the stator and rotor and is subject to high shearing and hydraulic forces before it are discharged from the mill. Adjusting the gap between the rotor and stator can minutely control the rate and fineness of the product. The gap adjustment is possible even while the mill is in operation.
